Virtual Open House

Beverly High School will be hosting a virtual Open House on Thursday, November 5 from 6:30 to 7:30. Parents will receive invitations on the Aspen family portal to attend a Google meeting for each of their child’s classes at a specified time. This is an opportunity to meet your child’s first semester and first quarter teachers and learn more about class expectations and activities. It is not for discussion of an individual student’s grades. High school teachers will send out the Google meet information on October 30 and again on November 4. Model United Nations

Congratulations to the members of Beverly High’s Model United Nations Club, who attended their first virtual conference at St. John’s High School on Saturday. Our club members successfully navigated the Zoom platform to engage in spirited debate and discussion with other Massachusetts high school students, all in an effort to make the world a better place. Model United Nations meetings take place after school every Tuesday via Google Meet: New members are always welcome: just sign in to check it out!

Seeking students for Class Officer/Student Council positions for the current school year. (Presdent, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Student Council representatives.) Elections will be on Tues, Oct 27, for every grade. Students interested in running for one of the following offices must do the following by Wednesday, October 21: 1. Create a 2-minute campaign speech video, that will be shown to your entire class on Tuesday, October 27, during Advisory. Email your video to Alexia Vayeos, Student Council Vice President, at by Wednesday, October 21. 2. Find four peers who would be willing to nominate you. They must send an email as proof of their nomination. The email should be sent to Mrs. Andrea Burgess, 4th Floor Office Secretary, at by Wednesday, October 21. Student Pictures

Freshman class Picture Re-takes will be held on 10/20 in the field house. For all of those students in the freshman class who have yet to get their pictures taken or would like to retake them. Students will be called down to the field house during classes. Grades 10 and 11 - Pictures will be taken 10/26, 10/27, and 10/28. Students will have them done in the field house when they are live in school with their cohort. Students will be called down to the field house during classes.
